As you walk through its charming streets, you’ll be amazed by the stunning views of the valley and its historical landmarks, including the Pienza Cathedral and the Palazzo Piccolomini.

Montepulciano, perched high on a hill, is renowned for its medieval charm and exceptional wines, particularly Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The village’s cobblestone streets and Renaissance architecture provide a scenic backdrop for exploring its churches, piazzas, and local artisan shops.

This tour also includes a visit to a family-owned winery, where you’ll take part in a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar to learn about the wine production process. Afterward, make a wine tasting accompanied by a traditional Tuscan lunch, featuring locally sourced ingredients.

• Pickup from your accommodation in Florence or nearby Tuscan villages. (The pickup time can be adjusted to suit your needs.)

• Arrive in Pienza. Begin your exploration of this charming village, visiting the Pienza Cathedral, and walking through its picturesque streets.

• Depart for a family-owned winery.

• Arrive at the winery for a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar, followed by a wine tasting of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and a traditional Tuscan lunch paired with the wines.

• Depart for Montepulciano.

• Arrive in Montepulciano. Explore the medieval village, visit the Montepulciano Cathedral, and enjoy the scenic streets and local shops.

• After exploring Montepulciano, enjoy a scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside back to Florence or your accommodation.

• Drop-off at your accommodation.
